OK - How do I actually do remote viewing? How can I 'see' these pictures and perceive elements of my target?

Many who sell "How-to" Remote Viewing courses, videotapes and seminars will tell you that you need to learn a technique to remote view. I believe that you can teach yourself - and that is much more powerful and effective than a structured course. Here's how:

Lay down in bed, close your eyes and relax. Try (as hard as it may be) to think of 'nothing'. The day dreamy scenes that play in your mind's eye (your imagination) that seem to come from nowhere is what remote viewing is. To 'focus' those day dreamy thoughts, simply state to yourself that you are going to see only images that may apply to your target. The target can be anything you want.

Step 1 - warm down

To get ready to remote view, you must clear your mind and reach a relaxed "unthinking" state, ready for visualizing and sensing your remote viewing target. Here are some pointers that might help:

1.Turn lights off and quiet the room. If total quiet is difficult, invest in earplugs. I use industrial ear protectors combined with earplugs. In an open office environment, it works quite well. If total darkness in impossible, put a towel over your eyes.

2. Lay back in your bed or favorite chair and close your eyes and relax. Try to clear your mind - think of 'nothing'.

3. Now imagine something moving repetitively - anything at all. A Ferris wheel turning, a pendulum moving back and fourth. See the color of it; see the mechanism moving it. That will get your imagination prepared. It will also serve to focus your attention. It is important during this procedure that you think of NOTHING else aside from your hypnotic movement. I sometimes use a special sound tape called "Hemi-sync". It creates a binaural beat, which is a wavy like sound created by the off-resonance of two tones in each ear. I hear the wavy sound in the middle of my head. I focus ONLY on the sound and try not to let any other thought come into my mind. It's sort of like walking on a fence. You are rarely ever perfectly balanced (rarely ever perfectly thinking of nothing but the sound), and more often slightly losing balance and regaining it (wondering off the sound, then moving back to it). The more you practice, the more you will be able to focus on your sound or visual. For more information on the 'hemi-sync' tape refer to the Monroe Institutte

Step 2 - remote viewing

1. After about 20 minutes of warm down, you should be ready to remote view. Your target will be an image that you will see at a certain date and time on your computer. I will provide your training targets for you. Your target feedback date and time is what you will need to focus on.

2. Mentally state to yourself "Any perceptions that I am about to have will be related to what I will be looking at on Saturday, Sept 30, at exactly 12:00 noon (or what ever the actual date and time is for your target - I will provide) by my watch". Relax and just let the imagination flow. Don't force it - don't get stressed when nothing comes. You've got to really relax and have fun with this. Write down your perceptions - regardless of how insane they may seem. Any words, shapes, sounds, smells, and scenes that come to mind. If you are deep enough and relaxed enough and not-thinking enough, then strange scenes will start to play in your head. A person with a funny red bow. A football player tripping over a gopher hole. A spatula dripping with egg. The stranger and more offbeat the perceptions are, the more likely they will pertain to your target.

3. It is important to 'filter' out any perceptions that you think are 'causal'. That means, any perceptions that you believe are caused by a previous thought. For example, if you heard a 'pop' noise somewhere in the background, and you thought of a bubblegum bubble popping, then you thought of the color pink - like the gum, then you thought of your neighbors new baby girl - none of those are valid remote viewing perceptions. All are caused by something that was not psi originated. If you can't figure out how a certain thought came to mind, then record it! Write it down because it's probably a valid remote viewing impression - the more surprising, the better!
